Spectacular Weekend

We just spent a great weekend with our fam/BFFs! We were having fun all over the Los Angeles area.
We got to meet Jon Swenson…Chelsea’s boyfriend. We know him as Rico, due to his spontaneous Salsa dancing in random places.
Plus we just have too many Jon’s/John’s in the family already.
We had a great time everywhere we went.

We were near an IKEA so of course we had to go check it out. IKEA has all these different show rooms set up like a movie set. We went from set to set posing and taking pictures. I always say IKEA is like a pretend palace for grown-ups.

More Tea? Such a great Tea Party hostess.

Cooking with wine… Rico thinks…more is more… Chelsea clearly believes less is more…

After exploring all of the wonderful things IKEA had to offer we went back to our hotel and just hung out watched TV grabbed some dinner.

Sunday we decided to hit the beach. It was a beautiful day. Perfect weather. Not too cold and not too hot.

Chelsea enjoyed the fantastic warm sun.

The guys went skim boarding. Chelsea attempted to skim board. We took a few videos, we’ll post those later. After a couple hours of fun in the sun we decided it was a good time to go get some water front sea food. We had a fantastic lunch at Gladstones in Malibu. Food was a bit pricey but worth it.
We would have stayed longer but we had to get back home… 🙁 We were having so much fun together it was sad to leave. Hopefully we’ll get together again some time soon.

Father’s Day 2010

We had a fantastic Father’s Day out on the Nut Farm. We BBQ’d a fantastic Pasta-Free Lasagna filled with fresh veggies straight from our garden. It was super yummy. It made a ton of food so we have some great leftovers this week!
All of our puppies had a terrific time too. They ran all over place, even tried to go swimming in the ditch…silly pups. They played all day long. They even helped us hunt down some gophers.
The guys finished clearing the way for the new patio area. It’s going to look great when it’s finished.
The weather was WONDERFUL! Thank you Lord: for the 80 degree weather during the end of June. Last year this time we were already up in the 100’s.
Daniel got his new shorts for work.

Memorial Day Weekend

We spent our weekend up in Atwater, with family. We just BBQ’d and hung out with everyone. Beautiful weather, nice and warm.
Almost the whole family was there.
…but we still missed BECCA!!!

There was a ton of food and it was all completely awesome.

We made fried rice…2 big containers and it sure disappeared fast!


Exciting news…we found out we are going to be Uncle and Auntie again... 2 new babies will be here some time this Fall.
The family keeps getting bigger and bigger.

Our Nephews Birthday Party

We went to San Jose for the weekend so we could be there for our nephew Jacob’s 9th Birthday party.
We had a great weekend with family.
For Jacob’s birthday we went to his baseball game and cheered on the Dodgers! Next we went to Round Table Pizza for pizza, cake and presents. He got a lot of presents…
After presents we headed to the roller rink, for hours of roller skating. Most everyone managed to stay on their feet.
It was a great day…soo much fun.

The rest of the weekend we just hung out with friends and family, talked, laughed…lots of laughing…and ate a lot of great home cooked food.

PMA Expo 2010

We went to the PMA Expo in Anaheim this year. PMA stands for Photo Marketing Association it is a Worldwide Community of Imaging Associations. It was fantastic, we got to learn about all the latest and greatest gizmos and gadgets coming out for photography. We had a great time hanging out in Anaheim for 4 days. We met a lot of really great people and went to some new restaurants.
 Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. is absolutely amazing. The weather was wonderful, it only rained once. I can’t wait for next years expo, but in 2011 it will be back in Vegas, which is a great place, but it was really nice having it closer to home.

Christmas Time

Well this years Christmas was busier than the past. Papa has been sick and in and out of the hospital, my cousin John got married, and plus we had my uncle and cousin come visit from NV. We had a full house but it was a lot of fun. We love getting to spend time with family.

Puppies, Puppies, Puppies!!

Back in June this sweet little dog showed up at our house out of no where. We searched for weeks to find her owners but never found anyone. She was just too sweet to take to the shelter so we decided to keep her. Well a month later we notice she’s gained a lot of weight…surprise surprise…she’s pregnant! On August 3rd she had 5 big beautiful boys.

Now the boys are 3 weeks old and 3 times as cute. Eyes open, walking, and playing.

We call him our Mini-Beagle… he is super smart. Great escape artist already.

We just love these guys, they are so much fun. I’m sure we’ll find great homes for all of them, but its tough not wanting to keep ’em all!

Daniel’s 26th Birthday!

We of course had to throw a party for the BIG TWO SIX.

Mom and dad hosted the party at their house so they could show off all their fabulous remodeling.
It was a great party, we had our friends and family over and just BBQ’d some really good hamburgers.
Auntie Rosie, CJ, and Anna came all the way over from Atwater to join in the fun. (Uncle Manny and Cousin Mikey were there too).

After some wonderful burgers it was on to present opening!

Kung-Fu Panda DVD! He loves it!

Kung-Fu Panda was from this little guy, so they can watch it together….but their favorite movie is Nemo.
