Well this years Christmas was busier than the past. Papa has been sick and in and out of the hospital, my cousin John got married, and plus we had my uncle and cousin come visit from NV. We had a full house but it was a lot of fun. We love getting to spend time with family.
Well we made it through our first year of marriage. It’s been a good year, a lot of ups and downs. I’m sure the best is yet to come.
Back in June this sweet little dog showed up at our house out of no where. We searched for weeks to find her owners but never found anyone. She was just too sweet to take to the shelter so we decided to keep her. Well a month later we notice she’s gained a lot of weight…surprise surprise…she’s pregnant! On August 3rd she had 5 big beautiful boys.
Now the boys are 3 weeks old and 3 times as cute. Eyes open, walking, and playing.
We call him our Mini-Beagle… he is super smart. Great escape artist already.
We just love these guys, they are so much fun. I’m sure we’ll find great homes for all of them, but its tough not wanting to keep ’em all!
We of course had to throw a party for the BIG TWO SIX.
Mom and dad hosted the party at their house so they could show off all their fabulous remodeling.
It was a great party, we had our friends and family over and just BBQ’d some really good hamburgers.
Auntie Rosie, CJ, and Anna came all the way over from Atwater to join in the fun. (Uncle Manny and Cousin Mikey were there too).
After some wonderful burgers it was on to present opening!

Kung-Fu Panda was from this little guy, so they can watch it together….but their favorite movie is Nemo.
Well for those of you out there who have not heard about our exciting news…We have decided to adopt. We’ve just finished up all our paper work, training and home studies. Now all we do is wait for God to bring a long the child or children that He has planned for our family.
Our friend Ezzie thought it would be good practice for us to go out and have a day trip with her daughter (who was our flower girl in our wedding). So Vivi wanted to spend the day at the Zoo with us and we said sure why not! We hit the Zoo in Fresno, Ca. Sunday, July 12, 2009.

Last but not least we checked out the bird show and got to get up close to a lot of amazing birds.
Huge Golden Eagle…he was gorgeous.
Later we’ll add the video of the bird show, it’s pretty neat.
After the show we headed out to the park and had a picnic lunch then went over the small amusement park across from the zoo and went on a couple of small roller coaster rides. We were all just pooped after that so we decided to head on home. It was a great day. We had a blast.
When we dropped Vivi off back at her mom’s house she gave us her approval…she said we’re going to make pretty great parents. It was just too cute.
